The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aspac.info\/html\/program_for_the_web.HTM\">program is here<\/a>: I&#8217;ll be presenting a paper on Friday<sup id=\"rf1-286\"><a href=\"#fn1-286\" title=\" Leadership in Yamaguchi Prefecture in the Early Meiji Era \" rel=\"footnote\">1<\/a><\/sup> and doing the moderator\/discussant thing on Saturday<sup id=\"rf2-286\"><a href=\"#fn2-286\" title=\" Panel 6B:  Marginalizing Discourses in Japanese History \" rel=\"footnote\">2<\/a><\/sup> as well as some administrative stuff<sup id=\"rf3-286\"><a href=\"#fn3-286\" title=\" I&#8217;m a member of the board, if you can believe it, and rumor has it that they want me to take on &lt;i&gt;more&lt;\/i&gt; responsibility \" rel=\"footnote\">3<\/a><\/sup> . I won&#8217;t be liveblogging anything, I don&#8217;t think (though there&#8217;s an internet-based panel discussion with some Chinese participants<sup id=\"rf4-286\"><a href=\"#fn4-286\" title=\"Panel 3C:  Internet Panel: Chinese Youth and the Internet (an Internet discussion from China) \" rel=\"footnote\">4<\/a><\/sup> which would be appropriate!) but I&#8217;ll be doing my usual conference blogging during and after.
