Not too long ago that would have been the last thing anyone who did serious China work would be looking for, but given the new interest in transnational history, the war period,\u00a0 some people might be interested all the old ephemera that is popping up all over the web to fascinate historians with its insight into the daily experience of the past while frustrating them with its poor sourcing. One example is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cbi-theater.com\/menu\/cbi_home.html\">CHINA &#8211; BURMA \u2013 INDIA Remembering the Forgotten Theater of World War II<\/a><\/p>\n<p>It includes reprints of a lot of stuff you could get elsewhere, but it is easier to find it here, as well as accounts from vets (all Americans) and lots of pictures.<\/p>\n<p>Some show Chinese wartime propaganda <em>in situ<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.froginawell.net\/frog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/china37a.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-7018\" src=\"http:\/\/www.froginawell.net\/frog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/china37a-300x181.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"416\" height=\"251\" srcset=\"https:\/\/froginawell.net\/frog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/china37a-300x181.jpg 300w, https:\/\/froginawell.net\/frog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/china37a.jpg 448w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 416px) 100vw, 416px\" \/><\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<p>They have a collection of blood chits, which I found interesting since I never realized how \u6587\u8a00\u6587 the early ones were. Hard to see why you would do that given the intended audience, but the later ones get better.
