How to Play
Welcome to the Chinese Dynasty Song Game! This game helps you learn the major Chinese dynasties and periods in chronological order. This game is based on the Dynasty Song as sung by Professors Peter K. Bol and William C. Kirby. Listen to the song on YouTube, to the tune of "Frère Jacques" to get the idea and practice here.
- Listen to the Dynasty Song before practicing it here.
- Type the pinyin (romanization) of each Chinese dynasty or period into the input boxes. You can get a hint to help you remember the order. The lines are repeated as in the song.
- Press Enter after each entry to check if it's correct.
- If correct, the Chinese character and its historical dates will appear.
- Complete all entries to finish the game.
