Only tables, columnar lists and directory entries are transcribed; prose, chronologies, law texts, advertisements, the contents and the index are not. Pages with tables and directories were found from contact sheets by Claude Haiku 5.5, so small tables set into the prose may be missing. Each page was read once by Claude Haiku 5.5 from full-resolution crops and not checked by eye; 14 difficult or blurred pages were read again by Claude Sonnet 5.5, whose reading is used (the climate tables on pp. 7–10 and the table of companies classified by organization remain mostly [?]); unreadable figures are marked, and printed totals that do not add up are noted and kept as read. Tables continued over pages were joined where the column headings match. The Who's Who and directories are on the Who's Who & Directories page. The scan repeats p. 543 (leaf 599) and lacks pp. 32–33 of the Who's Who.
