Only tables, columnar lists and directory entries are transcribed; prose, chronologies, law texts, advertisements, the contents and the index are not. Pages with tables and directories were found from contact sheets by Claude Haiku 5.5, so small tables set into the prose may be missing. Each page was read once by Claude Haiku 5.5 from full-resolution crops and not checked by eye; 29 blurred, smudged or show-through pages were read again by Claude Sonnet 5.5, whose reading is used. Much of this scan is faint or blotted, so many cells are [?] (the climate tables, parts of Industry and Chosen are the worst); unreadable figures are marked, and printed totals that do not add up are noted and kept as read. Tables continued over pages were joined where the column headings match. The directories are on the Who's Who & Directories page. The obituary lists are not transcribed.
