Every table is transcribed, and the directories and lists (tourist organisations, hotels and inns, tourist resources, award and committee lists, the bibliography) are transcribed as directory entries; the prose, the laws and the advertisements are not. Each spread was read once by Claude Sonnet 5.5 (tables and directories) or Claude Haiku 5.5 (prose pages with small tables), with no checking by eye; the bibliography was re-read by Sonnet after a first reading misplaced fields. Unreadable figures and characters are [?] or [illegible]; printed totals that do not add up are kept as printed and noted.
