Incomplete scan: printed pp. 16–109, 118–207, 210–503 and 878–1185 are not in the online copy, so most of the Japan part, the Who's Who and the business directory are missing, and the scan ends at p. 1203 in the list of learned and social institutions. Two table fragments whose first page is missing are transcribed as fragments. Only tables, lists and that directory page are transcribed; the running text, photographs, maps, advertisements, charts without printed figures, the contents and the bibliography are not. The pages with tables were found from contact sheets and only those pages were read. Printed totals that do not add up are kept as printed and noted.
