Every statistical table and the tables in the summary chapters are transcribed, and the request classification is transcribed as directory entries; the prose and the 33 coloured chart plates are not. Each spread was read once by Claude Sonnet 5.5 from full-resolution crops, with no checking by eye; the very long tables (4, 6 and 7) were read in four-frame instalments and joined, so a table may consist of many parts. Unreadable figures are [?]; printed totals that do not add up are kept as printed and noted.
