Only tables and columnar lists are transcribed; the running text, photographs, maps, organisation charts and the contents are not. Table pages were found from contact sheets by Claude Sonnet 5.5, which also marked pages printed sideways; those were turned upright before reading. Each table page was read once by Claude Haiku 5.5 through the API from full-resolution crops, with no second reading and no check by eye. Tables continued over pages were joined where the column headings match. Printed totals are checked automatically and differences noted; they are kept as read. Figures the model could not read are marked [?]. Chapters follow the printed contents (also read by Haiku).
