Only tables and lists are transcribed; the running text (most of the book), the photo plates and the folding map are not. Inline tax-rate schedules are tables; the fold-out organisation chart of the Government-General is given as a list, and the list of 府・郡・島 on the back of the map is included. Many figures are printed as tiny stacks of 一/二/三 strokes: where the grouping could not be read with certainty the cell is blank, and every figure changed in the check pass was confirmed by a second, blind reading or left blank. The postal money-order and savings tables (p. 179) are mostly blank because their type is too small on this scan. The appendix errata slip is transcribed as a table; its corrections are noted but not applied, and three of its quoted errors do not match what the page prints.
Note: In the early books added to this website, cells that are marked blank may be blank because the original was blank, or because the large language model extracting the table had difficulty in reading the cell. Read the transcription notes for each table and check the original source when in doubt.
