I have not heard so much about the grass mud horse cult recently but about three weeks ago it made the New York Times. I showed a colleague of mine who happens to be chinese and she didn’t find it interesting in the slightest bit. later at the end of the day she caught up with me as I was going home and told me that she LOVES IT! She was simply trying to portray a very stoic demeanor since it is slightly controvercial. Later we had a fantastic conversation about satire and I got to know more about her and what Chinese people find ironic or funny.
