The former Glover House around 1950. Kuraba Tomisaburo was forced to sell the house to the Mitsubishi Company in 1939 because it commanded a clear view of the shipyard where the battleship “Musashi” was being constructed. Today, the house is the centerpiece of the tourist facility “Glover Garden.”
