Only tables and lists are transcribed; the running text (most of the book) and the photo plates are not, and the folding map was not photographed in the scan. Inline tax-rate schedules are given as tables. Many figures are printed as tiny stacks of 一/二/三 strokes: where the grouping could not be read with certainty the cell is blank, and every figure changed in the check pass was confirmed by a second, blind reading or left blank. The postal money-order table (p. 27) is thin for this reason. Printed totals that do not add up are kept as printed and noted.
Note: In the early books added to this website, cells that are marked blank may be blank because the original was blank, or because the large language model extracting the table had difficulty in reading the cell. Read the transcription notes for each table and check the original source when in doubt.
